The Shaggy dog 1994
The shaggy dog is a series of films or TV movies in which a man is transformed into a dog by magic.
It’s a fantastic comedy, but the 1994 TV movie version explains that it is thanks to a magic ring belonging to Lucrèce Borgia that one can transform a man into a dog.
In my text I changed the ring for a poisoned necklace with the rye ergot fungus (Claviceps purpurea) which is an extremely dangerous fungus which causes by its vasoconstriction effect the drying of the limbs leading to amputation.
It also has a powerful aphrodisiac effect and contains lysergic acid (LSD).
Lucretia Borgia with a reputation as a poisoner and daughter of Pope Alexander Borgia.
Since the cardinals are princes of the Church, they are not bound to celibacy unless they are priests, but most have a sex life because they are often a kind of ambassador appointed to the Pope.
So nothing prevents us from imagining a drugged collar that allows a woman to make the wearer believe that he is a submissive dog.
Hence my strange poem.
