Si fort tu savais frapper
ton adversaire a essayé
tes attaques te retourner
mais tu as encore frappé
.
de tous bords tous cotés
elle ne savait plus où aller
mais elle a contre-attaqué
ton coté faible elle a ciblé
.
ton dur revers l’a renversée
et tu l’as battue et épuisée
par ta force tu l’avais écrasée
la victoire elle a dû concéder
.
et celle-ci était bien méritée
car dans ce sport si cruel
toi tu as si souvent été celle
qui au tennis avait gagné.

your opponent has tried
to return your attacks to you
