The name of the imperial couple was a well-kept secret because the truth would have ruined everything.
My mother who was supposed to be an oracle was born without a surname and only had a name but when in the Valkyries she entered the name of Warsmyte she had chosen and it remained because the Valkyries was for many women a place for her life start again and name change was common a little like in the foreign legion of past legends.

She has shown herself as a warrior well-advised in elaborate strategies but also by her vitality in the battles where she would tip the victory on her side or the victory of her enemies spoil.
But that name she gave up as Empress because peace and not war she wanted to impose.

My father was born as Silverstone but when from his kingdom he had to flee and to survive to live in hiding, this name he changed to Littlemoon, quite common name among the war orphans and the wars at that time were too abundant.

As he was good at repairing ships and improving them, he was nicknamed THE MECHANIC, and many under this name alone knew him.

A group of smugglers recruited him and when he finally proved his worth and an old ship he was equipped as a member he was inducted under the name of Falconmaker.

Name who had to give up when he damaged the Pharos Clock and became the most wanted man in the galaxy even though it was thought he had been killed.

Still in hiding, a lot of names he used for his track scramble, it is said that he used more than a hundred. But the Oracle found him and the Vegans captured him so his future wife, still almost oracle spared him and Hartman she had nicknamed him in thoughts because one day of by an empress he would be so loved. This identity for him was forged for the time being come to be used for the future preserve.

One of his many first names at birth however he used and it was Adrian because he was a pretty common name on many corners of the galaxy and nobody seemed to notice it. And besides it was the nickname that had given to him his long-dead grandmother.

When he was captured by the reconstituted empire he was named Darkin but his identity as Vegan was Adrian Hartman, one of their many noble sons who was on a mission to infiltrate various organized gangs. And the Vegans chose him to represent them in the imperial elections. That he won thanks to the one woman he had married in secret.

But to negotiate with various groups he had to secretly use many of his old identities which almost caused his loss. But he had organized everything to save the Empire in a complicated plan that forced his enemies to free him.

So my parents are officially named Adrian and Beatrix Hartman-Smyte because my mother had dropped the war prefix. But when I enrolled with the Valkyries, because my mother insisted that her children join secretly an armed body to be formed, I had chosen her old one to discover her past and may be to irritate her. I was already a little rebellious.

So I was able to keep my name and the surname of Littlemoon as a tribute to my mentor and also to one of my father’s aliases. This did not stop one of the oldest Elders among the Valkyries instructors from finding me resemblances with my mother in the past especially since like her I was determined and my comrades were impressed by my skill and my tenacity.
