The cat lady #poem

My career was shattered
to kill myself I wanted
a big tomcat found me
and on me he rubbed
.
so I pushed him away
again on me he rubbed
so I had to pet him
so he then purred
.
but seemed hungry
to home he follow me
some milk i gave him
the dish quickly emptied
.
I wanted to catch him
so he goes and was hiding
under the bed i found him
and by tuna attracted
.
I could then catch him
but he had escaped
in the house he is hiding
I did not find him
.
when in bed i was lying
near me he was coming
I was able to pet him
and there he stayed
.
when i got up next day
he then escorted me
after me he meowed
some tuna I gave him
.
he ate quickly anything
and more he claimed
I wanted to expel him
but he wanted to stay
.
so food I bought for him
a cat litter and a basket too
I also then was adding
this tomcat I kept him too
.
as he at least tried
then to console me
others cats i adopted
cat lady i was called
.
they made fun of me
but my cats saved me
so cats keep me busy
brighten up my days
