Immortal #poem

An immortal we had found
dead for thousands of years
he was beheaded, dismembered
but also that he was mummified

and his great age we estimated
several thousand years
of texts he was accompanied
so we deciphered them well
.
after studying them well
his big secret we found
so he owed his immortality
then to a very rare scarab
.
we tried to find this scarab
but he had been exterminated
because by our pesticides killed
his secret was gone for eternity
.
