Slavery #poem

 

they don’t come of their own will really
but you brought them here forced
on boats they were well chained
like animals you treated them
.
hard you made them work then
never hesitating to harshly whip them
they were there to work in the fields daily
thus great fortunes you were gaining
.
so your country was able to develop greatly
then you also denied all of their humanity
however after that you still treated them
with the most terrible of all bestiality
.
so their women you coveted them
so your blood to theirs it was mixed
your so-called mixed children they carried
thus proving their humanity and their equality
.
but all this evidence you have ignored
because to create lies you preferred
but when the others wanted to free them
so you really felt threatened then
.
so you separated from the others then
but in a bad war it has all degenerated
after that, even if it you were not winning
but your lies they have always remained
