Old Asian legend #poem

In a fishing village it happened
an idol on the water’s edge was placed
thanks to rubies in his eyes placed
from floods then it was all protecting
.
but one night thieves stole them
panicked fishermen evacuated
the thieves came back for looting
but a tidal wave then happened
.
so all thieves were quickly drowned
in their pockets the rubies they found them
and in the eyes of the idol were replaced
thus the village was again well protected
