Abandoned #poem

 

in the desert abandoned –
my members are broken –
so me i can be devoured –
by beasts very hungry –
.
who would have found me –
an old enemy has arrived –
my body he recovered –
so he made me look after –
.
why did he save me? –
so to me they explained it –
that a smart enemy –
we can then be admired –
.
and want to keep him –
if well he had behaved  –
because it’s a real rarity –
in this world so broken –
.
where chaos reigned –
but then I realized –
that i was really like him –
in camps who are opposed –
.
and that we were linked –
so more than our allies –
by the same probity –
to seek the truth only –
.
if we were going to find it –
their separate ways –
we should be converging –
for the same verity –
.
we should be connecting –
and we would be allies –
or we are going to stay –
enemies then forever –
