Victory against my weaknesses #poem

 

but this time I had to face really
a truly unmatched great enemy
who has won all his battles, smartly
because therefore all those he faced
.
all their weakness he had used well
against them he turned them over
all his weak points I had to find
but none of them I was able to find
.
so then towards mine I turned
my great impatience I thus realized
the first I was frequently attacking
so he then he could trap me
.
he will turn my attack against me
so instead of going on the offensive
I put my troops on the defensive
but for long days it was lasting
.
I found a flaw in his defense suddenly
I should have tackled it surely
but a trap I smelled, however
so therefore I did not attack him
.
then still more others days passed
he was sure that because of my temerity
I would soon end up attacking him
but my tendency I resisted well
.
then his army left very suddenly
because his planets were attacked
so my exacerbated patience had paid me
and so without a fight I had triumphed
