Trahison / Second chance #poem

 j’ai un peu trop poussé ma chance ,

puis j’ai joué alors de malchance ,
ensuite j’ai dû trahir ta confiance ,
mais toi malgré toute ta méfiance ,
alors toi tu as retenu ta vengeance ,
tu m’as donné ma seconde chance ,
et je t’ai prouvé ma reconnaissance ,
alors donc par ma totale obéissance ,
j’ai su alors calmer nos souffrances ,
et puis vivre avec les conséquences ,

a little too much I pushed my luck –
then I was caught up by bad luck –
so then I had betrayed your trust –
but you despite all your mistrust –
you had controlled your retaliation –
you gave me my second chance –
so I showed you my appreciation –
then by my very total obedience –
I knew how to calm our sufferance –
by living with the consequences –
