 We are the next one 

as our intelligence had constantly increased ,
that of all mankind seemed to us to drop quickly ,
but maybe it had always been so low already ,
which would tend to explain how was so slowly ,
the evolution of humanity, then by wars delayed ,
which justifies that we have to replace them quickly ,
