The Beauty and the Rose #poem

 

a lot the little prince had traveled –
so many worlds he had visited –
now that he was much older –
in a beautiful castle he settled –
.
her tame fox having died –
so only his Rose remain for him –
under her globe she was protected –
but she was quickly starting to wither –
.
and as in the Usher house story –
the prince as his rose has declined –
he got more neglected every day –
and for a beast he could have passed –
.
one day a Beauty came to visit him –
so that he spares his prisoner father –
so he accepted but she had to stay –
so she began to take care of him –
.
once washed, cleaned, and combed –
so she found him a certain beauty –
she always tried in vain to confort him –
but by his Rose he was obsessed –
.
so he even decided to die with her –
when the last petals would be falling –
but then just before it had happened –
by Belle’s love, his hope was returning –
