Survivors #poem

 

our freighter had been damaged
in the engine room I entered
to stop generators then broken
which might well explode there
.
once the task has been completed
then there all alone I found myself
our freighter had been abandoned
because its crew had left from it
.
all the shuttles they had used
there was only me and the cats
which are used to control the rats
the freighter will be continuing then
.
because its engines can working
they are, moreover, well separated
autonomous and also automated
the freighter it will go all by itself
.
this even if I were to die there
what might still happen to me
the life support system work weakly
just enough for my air to be recycled
.
without enough energy to feed them
the waste recyclers had stopped
not producing anything to feed me
so through the reserves I passed
.
then what was left was too damaged
so with it the rats I had to bait them
I had to cook them to eat them
my leftovers I gave to the cats
.
and when I haven’t caught more rats
my cats some rats they brought me
so I was able to be surviving
then my cargo ship was boarded
.
I was recovered and also feed then
one of the cats accompanied me
because it didn’t want to leave me
and so I ended up adopting it
