Our singing Queen #poem

 -

our great queen knew how to sing
that by his songs we were enchanted
by their words we were well inspired
then by all her improvised melodies
.
we were delighted to see bewitched
but a terrible misfortune had happened
when barbarians came to spoil everything
our kingdom they wanted to take from us
.
and then our queen stopped singing
and then somehow we had resisted
but desperate by what was happening
so we really needed to be led by her
.
so we were about to surrender
when our queen started singing again
a powerful warrior song she sang
who our enemies totally astonished
.
but great courage and hope that gave us
the enemy understood what will happen
they tried to quickly retreat all scared
because by the coded lyrics she sang
.
all her armies she quickly reorganized
as one man we went forward all united
and the enemy was forced to retreat rapidly
so reinforcements they had quickly called
.
but their reinforcements never arrived
their leader knew he would be defeated
he preferred to use them to be protected
so his troops were quickly decimated
.
we were able to triumph over this enemy
then a peace treaty was also signed
this war song decoded and simplified
has become the new hymn of our armies
