Abyss #poem

.

our ship being too damaged
on this planet we had landed
but its natives we avoided
because they seem to like war
.
and all foreigners they hated
hidden under the sea we stay
to high pressures then familiar
in an abyss we were going
.
metal nodules were found there
so we were able to build a city there
as the repairs would be long lasting
but some materials would be missing
.
so the surface we were exploring
always avoiding being spotted
otherwise we were quickly attacked
when the repairs were completed
.
then the natives had found us
their ship to the surface we returned
but we were still ready to fly away
if they ever wanted to attack us
